Your monthly Party Pack is full of printable activities and all the things you need to host a beautifully themed party but you will also need some Party Pack supplies. I’ve got all the Party Pack supplies you will need every month to put together your party.

Every Party Pack Supplies:

For Printing:

    • Paper – simple copy paper will do but I also really love the matte photo paper from Canon. It holds the color of the ink beautifully and it’s the perfect cardstock weight.
    • Ink – I love having my ink subscription through HP. It’s a monthly membership based on how many pages you print and not the amount of ink you use. I have the $11.99 a month subscription and can print 300 pages full color every month.  They have several different plans to choose from and ink is automatically shipped to your door when your printer is low so you never run out. It’s perfect for the Party Pack plus all the additional printing I do throughout the month.
    • Color Printer – This is a basic model that works with the ink subscription. I used this one for a year, but have since upgraded to this model and love it. It prints faster, double-sided, and also does borderless prints. If it’s in your budget, I would get this one.

For Making:

  • Adhesive – There’s usually at least one activity in the Party Pack that requires an adhesive.
Liquid Glue – This is my favorite glue for paper crafting. It’s perfect for gluing cardstock, especially 3D projects like paper boxes. A tiny bit goes a really long way making this glue last a long time.
Glue Sticks – As you may have guessed, there are plenty of kids crafts in the party packs. Glue sticks are my go-to adhesive with kids.
Tape Runner – These are handy when layering paper projects.
  • Coloring – I also include activities that kids can color in themselves rather than using the pre-colored digital designs.
    Crayons
    Colored Pencils
    Markers
  • Cutting – Here are some of my favorite scissors for kids and adults.
    Kid Scissors
Scissors for Adults – These are hands-down my favorite scissors. The micro-tip allows you to cut in the tiniest details and tight angles. They’re incredibly sharp and never let me down.
Paper Trimmer – I try to design as many things as I can in the Party Pack with straight lines to make them easy to cut out. A paper trimmer is perfect for those cutting jobs.
Crop-o-dile – I have had my Crop-o-dile for about 10 years and it is still incredibly sharp. I love to use this to punch holes in tags or my banners because you can do a whole stack at once saving a lot of time.
Silhouette – In an effort to make things even easier for you, I have started to include .svg cut files with each Party Pack so you can cut them out with your Silhouette Cameo or Portrait. This print and cut tutorial will teach you everything you need to know about using the Party Pack .svg files with your machine.

Other Party Pack Supplies:

Here are some other supplies I like to keep on hand for crafting with our Party Packs.

  • Sticker Paper – I use this for print and cut. Perfect for those times when you want less mess without glue.
  • Twine – I use this every month to hang my banners. I use it for a lot of other crafts too and am shocked how long this roll has lasted.
  • Butcher Paper – I love to use paper for tablecloths. It doesn’t have the creases you get with plastic tablecloths and it looks nicer. It’s also great to roll some out on the floor and let your kids color all over it for an afternoon activity. Black and white are the colors I have, but I dream of having the whole rainbow one day.
  • Balloon Pump – I don’t know how I ever survived a party before this thing. Haha! But seriously, if you are blowing up any balloons, this is the way to go. You can inflate two at a time in a matter of seconds. It’s amazing!
