Calendar

Here’s a great little project to get your kids excited for school. A simple calendar and planner that they can mark holidays, birthdays, field trips or even track the weather in. I printed out a few blank calendars on cardstock. Four calendars on a sheet, two on each side. I then printed out all the holiday icons onto sticker paper and used my Silhouette to cut them into squares with the Print and Cut feature. You could also use the new PixScan mat.

Once you have everything printed and cut, fold your calendars in half to make a booklet. You can then fill the months and dates on the calendar, a great writing and counting exercise for your kids. Finally you get to put the stickers on all the important dates and start using the planner.
