I love making treat holders for the holidays. As always, I like simple and easy to create gifts that I can make quickly for all the guests of a party. Here are a few treat holders you can make for your Valentine celebrations.
Treat Bag | Heart Cone | Heart Pocket
This heart treat bag can be completed a few ways. In the image above, I folded the top of the bag over like you would to close a lunch sack. I then glued the handles to the sack, and glued the tops of the handles together to seal the bag closed. It would also look cute with the bag open to reveal the yummy treats or gift inside.
The heart cone works best using a pattern paper with a high contrast between the front and back. You simply glue along the tab and roll the die cut into a cone. It’s so easy! I filled this cone with candy, but I also think it would be cute with gourmet popcorn.
I love the way this last one turned out. It was perfect for my yummy Valentine cookies. This cut file works best with thinner paper to keep it from being to bulky from all the folding. I used wrapping paper that had a high contrast between the front and back to emphasize the heart shape that appears when the pocket is folded. The heart pocket is really simple to fold, but for those of you who are more visual and need further instruction, I’ll be posting a step-by-step tutorial later this week.
