I go through waves of posting on the blog. Last week I posted almost every day, and this week, I’ve been silent until today. I’ve been working on a fun pirate party that has kept me busy all week. It will be available on Silhouette next week! You can see sneak peeks of it on my Instagram.
Today I thought I’d show you some photos from the Valentine party I hosted for some friends and their kids. I have been friends with these girls since high school, some since elementary, and we love meeting up for playdates every month. This is my second year hosting the Valentine party and I hope to make it an annual thing, if they keep showing up. :) I grabbed a few photos from my talented friend Kara. I’m so lucky she came prepared with her camera and snapped a few pictures for me. I always have intentions of photographing the parties, but am too busy running the show. haha. Thanks so much Kara. You can see more of the party on her blog.
This is the banner I made using the tutorial from Poppy and Dot. Each child took home their picture when they left as a little Valentine from their mom.
Busy decorating their Valentine boxes.
Playing BINGO with their faces on the cards. This was a hit! They all asked if they could take their cards home with them so they could play some more.
You would not believe the volume in my little house during this party. I think it’s safe to say, we all had a great time.
Here is some of the loot the kids received during their Valentine exchange at the party. They were all so excited.
