Did you guys see all of the exciting new products Silhouette released yesterday? The biggest announcement was their new Silhouette Cameo 3.
Silhouette CAMEO 3
The machine is beautiful! I guess more importantly than its looks is that it has some really cool new features including bluetooth capability, so you don’t have to plug it into your USB port in your computer, and you can also use it with your wireless devices. Hallelujah! I have been waiting for this for a long time. I hate having to switch out my Cameo, phone cord, camera, external hard drives and everything else that plugs into my USB ports.
The second biggest feature of the Cameo 3 is the dual carriage. Now you can sketch and cut at the same time. It also come with a new self-adjusting blade. You just lock the blade into the machine and it automatically detects the blade depth needed to cut the material. So cool!

Specialty Media
Silhouette also released several new specialty media items. I get so excited over things like this. They now have printable shrink plastic. I have used material similar to it before for cake toppers and pins in previous posts. I’m super excited for this stuff! I like to think that maybe I gave them the idea. Haha! I’m sure they had it in the works long before I started playing around with shrink plastic. Either way, it’s going to be so awesome to be able to print designs on it too!
They also have printable vinyl and window clings. The printable vinyl will be so fun for a ton of different projects. My mind is going crazy with ideas. If you saw my Instagram post about the amazing Kitchen Aid mixer Kayla Brasher embellished using printable vinyl and my floral designs, you’ll be excited too. I think the window clings will work great on our family calendar. And how cute would it be to make your own custom holiday window clings for your kids to use?
