I wanted to share a fun way to use my soup die cut that is new to the Silhouette store this week. The file comes complete with the pot, onion, broccoli, chicken, ladle, noodles, carrot and potato die cuts. Using a tutorial from Silhouette on how to make die cuts into Print and Cuts, I created a weekly menu planner. I love this project because you can create a piece of art that matches your kitchen and is functional.
Supplies Needed:
- SOUP die cut
- Silhouette Tutorial
- Frame
- Dry Erase Marker
Instructions:
Using the Silhouette tutorial, fill in each shape with a color or pattern. You can also cut the shapes out of paper and glue together for a more dimensional look. Write a day of the week on each shape. Print and frame. Using a dry erase marker, write each meal planned on the glass. Erase and begin again the next week.
Amy– I love this! What size did you cut the soup pot?
You can make it any size. I cut it to fit in a 12×12 frame. I’d love to see the one you create.
