My boys turned two on December 22. Having a birthday so close to Christmas always adds to the business and excitement of the holiday. My little Mason was sick, sick, sick on his birthday, so we spent the next two days laying around the house playing with birthday toys before the big day. It was much needed for all of us. Christmas day was wonderful and my boys loved opening presents. When they woke up from their nap, they wanted to know where the presents were from Santa. Sorry kiddos, Santa doesn’t leave presents every time you sleep on Christmas. Nice try though.
New Years is just a few days away, and I have some quick and easy party designs for you that will be available in the Silhouette store soon. Most of the kit is print and cut to save you a lot of time in party prep. It’s all in gold and will coordinate beautifully with other colors of your choosing.
New Years Party Kit
Kit includes:
- Party hat with star topper
- Party favor card complete with an envelope of confetti for each guest to throw at midnight. I cut the envelope out of parchment paper from my kitchen, vellum would work well also.
- Straw toppers
- Food labels/ place cards. Delete the Happy New Year phrase and replace with a guest’s name or food item. If you would like your font to coordinate with the one I used, you can download it free HERE.
New Years Bottle Wrapper
Wrap up a bottle of champagne or sparkling cider to coordinate with the rest of your party decor.
Includes:
- “321” tag counting down to the New Year
- “Happy New Year” label wrapper
I provided a FREE DOWNLOAD for coordinating firework wrappers. You can find them here.
Enjoy your New Year!
That is SO cute! The confetti card is brilliant!
Sorry still new to silhouette. But how do you print in gold? It’s beautiful and perfect to ring in the new year. Is the sparkles in the confetti and stars using the double-sided adhesive kit and glitter from SA.
Just print the file as you would any other image. There is a gradient to the gold coloring giving it the appearance of gold foil. The confetti and stars are cut from glitter wrapping paper I had on hand. It makes quit a mess when I cut it on the Silhouette, so I think the adhesive paper and glitter would be a better solution.
Love these! Thanks for sharing your talent! The confetti envelope is just too fun!
