I was able to try out some of Silhouette’s Heat Transfer products over the weekend. As with all their products I’ve used so far, it’s great quality and so easy to use. I embellished this little canvas tote using the White Flocked Heat Transfer material and my new flower bouquet die cut.
Silhouette has a lot of useful video tutorials you can watch to learn how to use the heat transfer. I used this tutorial here. I also made a few tweaks to the flower bouquet design for the bag. I trimmed away some of the flower outlines with a craft knife, and used the negative space to create the flower instead. The image on the left is what it looked like after the design was altered and the unwanted pieces were removed. The image on the right is how it looked before I ironed it on. This bag took me about 10 minutes to make. I love quick projects with instant results.
You can snag yourself some Silhouette Transfer Products and a Silhouette at an incredible deal this week. You must use the link HERE to access the promotional pricing and use discount code ROBISON at checkout.
