When my boys were born I was obsessed with taking pictures of them, as I’m sure all new moms are. It was much easier back then when they couldn’t run away from me. It’s a whole new ball game now. ha ha. Anyway, my husband would always roll his eyes when he would come home from work and see what I had dressed the boys in for a little photo shoot. My poor kids had no choice.
After taking pictures of them dressed as cupid for a Valentine card to send to the grandparents, I got the idea to take holiday photos each month and make a calendar at the end of the year. The older they got the harder it was to keep them in the same spot and have them both looking at the camera. I wondered if it was worth it a million times. I’m so glad I stuck with it. It made an adorable Christmas present for the grandparents at the end of the year. All the hard work was spaced throughout the year, so it was a breeze to put together before Christmas. I simply uploaded my photos to Snapfish and inserted them in a simple calendar template and I was done. I wanted to share this little project because it is the beginning of a new year, and the perfect time for you to start gathering ideas and taking photos for your new calendar.
