This is one of those projects I’ve wanted to do for a few years now, and there’s no time like the present. It’s back to school season and these flashcards are perfect for the little ones. There is a flashcard for both the upper and lowercase of each letter. Each vowel has a word for both the long and short vowel sounds.
Although we’re just learning the very basics like animal sounds at my house right now, my boys will be ready to learn the alphabet before I know it. As I was illustrating the letter ‘Dd’ my boys looked at the computer and both said “woof! woof! rawwrr!” I guess the animal sounds are sinking in. I’m so proud!
Tomorrow I’ll show you how these flashcards can be cut and used for kids crafts to help learn each letter.
I just bought every last one of them!! I love them Amy!
So cute!
I love theses flash cards and am thinking they would work perfect with the sticky backed canvas from SA.
Thanks for sharing.
