Here is the tutorial for the 3D Star Garland as promised. I strung these on twine, but I think they could look cute over a string of lights if you used thinner paper. It might be something worth trying.
Supplies Needed:
- 3D Star Silhouette Cut File
- Adhesive
- Red, White and Blue paper
- Twine
- Silhouette Cameo or Portrait
How to Make Your 3D Star Garland Tutorial:
- Cut out 3D Star shapes using your Silhouette machine.
- Fold along dotted lines to center of star alternating folds up and down like an accordion. Fold all tabs toward the back of the star.
- Apply adhesive to all tabs. With tabs folded inward on the backside, glue to the top star.
- Before gluing your top two points together, place your twine in between to attach the star to the garland.
