Kids Weaving Workshop

I had so much fun at both weaving workshops I hosted on Saturday. During the kids workshop, we learned to make a loom from a piece of cardboard and weave a drawstring bag. We had yummy snacks and everyone got to pick a few treasures to put in their bag before they left. All the kids were so cute and fun to have there. They were so polite and kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better group on my first kids workshop. Thank you all for coming!

This sweet, little girl was so excited that she got to bring her grandma to the workshop.

I heard several times from this sweet boy that he was having so much fun and loved weaving. This is the exact reason I love teaching.

Pushing the yarn down was the favorite part for everyone. Who wouldn’t love to do it?

I love the focus and determination on all their cute faces.

I forgot to take a group picture, as always, but I did catch a few of these cuties with their bags before the end.

Adult Weaving Workshop

In the adult weaving workshop we learned how to make a loom from a frame. We learned several different stitches and some even created shapes in their weaving. Wow! We chatted, snacked and enjoyed each others company. Such a fun night and a great way to relax with friends.
