Tie Treat Bag Tutorial

I have a new design in the Silhouette Design Store this week: Tie Treat Bag. Just in time for Father’s Day!

You can give your Tie Treat Bag alone, or use it to embellish a glassine envelope holding a card. If you want to get your little ones involved, cut the tie out of white paper instead of patterned and have them color it for Dad. Then assemble and fill with yummy treats. It’s those details from little hands that make all the difference.

How to create your Father’s Day Tie Treat Bag:

Cut out your tie treat bag design.

Score and fold your design to create your tie and secure the ends of the cardstock with some adhesive.

Attach the knot of your tie to the top after you have filled it with candy.

Isn’t that stripe pattern fun? I thought this cardstock was just perfect for a Father’s Day tie.
