Today I have a quick little tutorial for you on how to change the color on my print and cut Handmade Tags. It is so easy, and will allow you to match the tags to your handmade gifts.
Open your Handmade Tag file in Silhouette Studio.
1. Select your print and cut shapes.
2. With the shape selected, go to ‘Object’, then select ‘Ungroup’.
3. Select your shape. Ungroup the items within the shape. You may have to do this several times to single out the items you want to change colors.
4. With the shape selected, open the ‘Fill Color Window’ located in the top right panel.
5. Select the new desired color in the ‘Fill Color’ window located on the right.
6. Continue selecting specific shapes in each label or tag and change the colors as desired.
7. For different color choices than the ones provided by default, select your shape, then select ‘Advanced Options’ in the ‘Fill Color’ window.
8. With your shape selected, click your color of choice in the rainbow color spectrum. You can also play around with the transparency of the color in the this window.
There you have it. A simple way to make each tag match all your handmade gifts.
