Have you decorated your Easter eggs yet? Here’s a little kit you can put together for the occasion. Fill small egg cartons with different art media to decorate your eggs and a little treat to munch on. I included a mini paint set, glitter, glitter glue, rhinestones and washi tape along with the best Easter candy ever, Cadbury Mini Eggs.
You could also include markers, crayons, temporary tattoos and more. What would you put in your egg decorating kit?
The Tea Party Collection papers are finally in the Silhouette Online Store!!! I am limited on the number of designs I can submit per week, so the second part of the collection will be available next week. I wanted this collection to be light and carefree with the pastel colors and ombre/ watercolor. I also added some stability with the navy blue and crisp graphics. I hope you enjoy this line as much as I have.
You can find all the paper shown above in my Silhouette portfolio along with the other coordinating Tea Party cut files.
I’ll be showing more samples of ways you can use this line throughout the next few weeks. You can also click on the links below to see how I used it for a Tea Party
My boys turned two on December 22. Having a birthday so close to Christmas always adds to the business and excitement of the holiday. My little Mason was sick, sick, sick on his birthday, so we spent the next two days laying around the house playing with birthday toys before the big day. It was much needed for all of us. Christmas day was wonderful and my boys loved opening presents. When they woke up from their nap, they wanted to know where the presents were from Santa. Sorry kiddos, Santa doesn’t leave presents every time you sleep on Christmas. Nice try though.
New Years is just a few days away, and I have some quick and easy party designs for you that will be available in the Silhouette store soon. Most of the kit is print and cut to save you a lot of time in party prep. It’s all in gold and will coordinate beautifully with other colors of your choosing.
December is just around the corner which means it’s time for advent calendars. I love advent calendars! I created this one as a craft for my nieces and nephews to make together. I cut out all the ornaments in a variety of colors and let them mix and match to make their own special ornaments that hung on each family’s tree. I love little creative minds. They came up with more decorating ideas for each ornament than I did. I wish I had a picture of their trees to share. Take my word for it, they were adorable. Continue reading →
With the current chipboard promotion going on at Silhouette, I decided to use it to create a geometric baby shower. The colors of this shower can easily be switched out for a girl baby shower. You can also change the phrase on the banner to work with any party.
A coupon book was my favorite gift for my mom growing up. Wasn’t it everyones? It allowed me to give something handmade, which I loved, and showed her that I care. Although I think she rarely redeemed the coupons. Mom, they have expired. Don’t bother looking for them to redeem now. :)
This coupon book is available as a print and cut to make it fast and easy. Little ones will love filling out acts of services or coupons for hugs and kisses they can give to mom or grandma. They can also be given to your daughters on Mother’s Day. Maybe a coupon for babysitting. Hint. Hint. You know the recipient will love the thought and love that has gone into each coupon of this adorable flower pot coupon book.
I was putting together a little Woodland Party kit and decided to add one last design to complete it. I think this is finally it for additions to the party. I had a request to make cup wrappers. I thought these water bottle labels would be a great solution since they will fit most standard size water bottles. They are so fast and east to create. Print, cut and tape to a water bottle. I chill the water bottles in the fridge before serving. This way the water is served cold and doesn’t need to be placed in a cooler of ice that would make the labels soggy.
Welcome your Easter guests with this Easter Soirée collection. The delicate designs give a nice airy feel. Perfect for spring decor. I experimented with a few new materials on my Silhouette for this party collection. I’m excited to share them with you in this post and throughout the week. Continue reading →
I had a craft day with the girls in my family. We started in the morning with brunch and crafted all afternoon. Naturally, we did more chatting than crafting. Spend a day with your friends and family and Craft You Heart Out! Continue reading →
