Yesterday I introduced a new set of ABC flashcards. Today I want to show you those same flashcards used as a kids craft to reinforce each letter they learn.

Each flashcard file comes with a print and cut card of the letter and the cut lines to make each letter into a craft. Below is an example of what each file looks like.

letter Gg

Add some dimension and interactive features with each letter craft to bring them to life.Aa is for Astronautbutterfly, gears, housejellyfish, fly feathers, wagon wheels

These would look great in a playroom strung together like a banner of your child’s work. Put them in a photo album for your child’s very own ABC book. For the mamas that want to join in on the fun, make an ABC quiet book using the die cuts as a pattern. It would make a great interactive learning tool that would be durable and last through many children. What would you create with these ABC flashcards?

  1. JUST BOUGHT THE WHOLE SET ON LINE. I HAVE 5 GRANDCHILDREN 3 YEARS AND UNDER SO I KNOW I WILL BE MAKING A SET FOR EACH. I’D LOVE TO SEE MORE OF THE INTERACTIVE IDEAS!

    1. I haven’t made a craft for all the letters yet, so I’ll just tell you some of my ideas for a few of the letters.
c – glue small pompoms on each circle of the caterpillar
e – make the elephants ear flap, similar to the butterfly’s wings
p – glue popcorn on the letter
u – use glitter instead of the paper sparkles by the unicorn’s head

There are so many fun things you can add to these cards to add dimension and a little variety. Enjoy!

      1. I love the idea for the gumball machine. I’m glad I haven’t made my ‘G’ card yet so I can use your idea. Thanks for sharing!

    1. Send me pictures when they make them. I’d love to see how they turn out. Crafts are always cutest when they’re made by little hands.

  2. These are so adorable! You are so creative. Just a question, do you have the whole alphabet as a set for purchase or do I need to purchase each letter individually? Thanks! I’m so excited to get crafting with these!

    1. Thank you! I have had a lot of fun making them. They are currently only available as single letter purchases on the Silhouette. Send me pictures when you make them. I’d love to see!
